Ridgeway Access Statement

At the Ridgewy we are committed to providing accessability to all our guests,at present we are four large double bedrooms all of which are on the first floor, only accessible via steps , by autumn 2009 we are hoping to have two more bed rooms one of which will have ground floor access and will have twin beds.

We have been graded by Visit Britain and have three stars in the small hotel catergory.
  • 1. Parking is available in our own private carpark, whick is situated opposite the hotel , access to the hotel is via a small slope, valet parking is available on request.
  • 2.The bar and dining room are accessed via a slight slope and Rafters restaurant is on the first floor, we have ground and first floor toilets .
  • 3.The garden at present is only accessible via steps , we do have an easily accessible terrace which over looks the garden.
  • 4. All bedrooms have tea & coffee making facilities and mini bar with fresh milk,direct dial telephones , o2 mobiles receive the best reception, room service is available until 11pm,
  • 5. The Ridgeway is the ideal location for a relaxing break, there are many local walks that start from the ridgeway or nearby. private transport is reccommended if you wish to go further afield, Axminster ( approx 1.5 miles) has a main rail line to Waterloo , and the jurassic coast at Lyme Regis is approx 5.5 miles.
